TERMS & CONDITIONS
At the time of reservation, we request a refundable 20% deposit to guarantee and secure your booking. If you do not arrive, and notice of cancellation was not received within the specified period of time, the full amount of the stay will be charged to you and the room will be made available for new reservations. We reserve the right to take a non-refundable deposit for large groups but will always agree this with you beforehand.
Check-in is available at any time from 3pm to 10pm and we kindly ask that you vacate your rooms no later than 10am.
Payment & Applicable Taxes – Payment will be taken in full at check-out. If you’re arriving within 7 days of your reservation, we will take full payment at the time of booking. We accept the following methods of payment; cash and all major credit cards. Taxes are not included in our rates and will be charged in addition upon check-out.
Cancellation Policy – We hope you don’t, but if you do need to cancel part or all of your stay, please notify us via email as soon as possible. If you have not had a cancellation confirmation within 24 hours, please telephone us. Cancellations made within two weeks of the stay shall be subject to the full cost of the booking. If we are able to rebook part or all of your original reservation we will refund you the difference. All other cancellations are possible without penalty and your deposit will be refunded to you as soon as possible. Very rarely we may need to cancel your booking and in such circumstances you will be given a full refund, however we will have no further liability to you but we will make all reasonable attempts to re-locate any confirmed booking to a similar property in the Golden area. Please note that our cancellation policy remains in effect at all times, including but not limited to, weather conditions, road closures and force majure.
Facilities & Guest Comfort
Children – We are a family friendly establishment and can provide high chairs, booster seats and cots upon request. We do not charge extra for children to stay and are happy to provide extra beds where we can. Please see our room details on this website for information on how many adults and children each room can comfortably accommodate. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will be able to advise.
Pets – Please contact us to discuss any pet stay requirements. All pet stays must receive prior approval.
Smoking – Smoking is not permitted inside or on the deck/terrace of the Lodge and cabins. If you wish to smoke, please do so in one of the designated areas only. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground; it is bad for our environment, the animals that use our land and is a fire risk.
Winter Hot Tub – The hot tub is available for guests to use in the winter season from 9am to 10pm. Please ask for hot tub towels from reception and do not use the towels provided in your room. Use of the hot tub is at your own risk. Occasionally, we may need to close the hot tub for cleaning and maintenance.
Quiet Time – Quiet time is from 10pm to 7am. There is no need to stop having fun at this time, we just ask that you consider the other guests staying with us. Loud behaviour and a disregard for other guests will result in you being asked to leave the Lodge and charged for the full duration of your reservation.
The Environment – Wherever possible we try to be environmentally friendly and we would appreciate it if you could do the same. Recycling facilities are available and we are happy to advise you if required. We ask that guests turn off lights when not in use and reuse towels where appropriate.
Damage – We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred by yourself or your party or for any items that are missing when you leave. We will always try and discuss this with you beforehand.
